He might be forty-years old but superstar quarterback Tom Brady is hungry as ever to help secure a consecutive Super Bowl for the New England Patriots. He is the only player in history to lift the trophy five times with the same club, and it looks like his desire hasn't faded in the slightest.
He recently took out the AFC Offensive Player of the Week award, after the Patriots defeated the New Orleans Saints 36-20. It was the 28th time in his career that he has received the honors, and the most for any player in NFL history, surpassing the previous record of 27 which was held by Peyton Manning.
Brady completed a whopping 30 from 39 passes for 447 yards, and threw three touchdowns. With those kind of performances it's safe to say that the number twelve is still at the peak of his game and will continue to impress this campaign.
It was just what the doctor ordered for New England, after a dismal performance in their season opener against Kansas City which saw them go down to the Chiefs 27-42. Tom spoke about how angry that made him and it seems to have motivated the team to get things moving back in the right direction.
Even after their opening game loss the Patriots still remain favorites to win Super Bowl LII and are being heavily backed at +400. Their closest rival is the Seattle Seahawks who are currently +800, with the next teams being the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Green Bay Packers who both sit on +900. Prices are constantly on the move though and it can be helpful to check the latest NFL odds as well as team and injury updates on a betting news site such as bet365.

If you chose to have a punt on New England, the Super Bowl is definitely the way to get some value out of your bet. They are extremely short to win their division at -900 and are solid front runners for their conference currently sitting at +170 to take out the AFC Championship. Last year the Patriots finished the regular season with the best win-loss ratio of any team in the league, with 14 victories and 2 defeats. With one loss already on the board so far this season New England will be looking to lock it up defensively and get back to playing that fast paced attacking football we've all become accustomed to.
Tom Brady seems determined to help the Patriots push for another title and signed a two year extension on his contract before the season began. He received a reported $25 million signing bonus, and with extras the deal could end up being worth around $60 million. This will ensure that the quarterback will remain with the club through to the end of 2019. When asked about his playing future, Brady said that he wanted to continue to play football for the next ten years. It's a privilege to watch this magnificent player continue to dominate the field, and he shows no signs of throwing in the towel in the immediate future.
